What is the Setting Tab? The Settings tab is where you manage your overall Threshold app experience. From here, you can adjust app preferences, manage Residences, send or review invites, access support tools, and update your main profile information.
What You Can Do on the Settings Tab:
Customize your profile and app preferences.
Join, create, or switch between Residences.
Manage Zones and the smart plugs within them.
Add or remove members from your Circle of Care.
Review invite codes or send new ones.
Access app support, logs, tutorials, and version info.
Sign out of the app.
Components of the Settings Tab:
Sign Out Button: Signs the user out of the Threshold app.
Main Profile – Opens your core profile. This is the version of your profile visible across all Residences unless you’ve customized your Member Profile for a specific one.
App Settings – Access app-wide preferences, such as notifications and permissions.
Manage Residences – View, rename, or switch between Residences you belong to.
Review Invite – Join a Residence using an invite code. You’ll be prompted to review the invite details before accepting.
Invites – Send new invites and track existing ones.
Circle of Care – Manage the members and roles within your Residence.
Manage Zones – Create or update Zones (like Upstairs, Downstairs) by assigning devices to physical areas.
Manage Devices – Add, rename, or remove smart plugs used for motion detection.
Customer Care – Contact Threshold support or view contact options.
App Logs – Access system logs (used mainly for troubleshooting with support).
Tutorial – View the in-app walkthrough and guidance screens again.
About – View the app version and other technical details.
Navigation Bar: These icons take you to different tabs in the Threshold app (detailed view below).
Bottom Navigation Bar:
Dashboard tab (grid): returns you to this main Dashboard screen
Settings tab (gear): opens the Settings menu
Messages tab (envelope): opens the Inbox for alerts and messages
