How Long Does It Take for My Motion Wi-Fi Sensing Plug to Report That It Is Offline?
It can take up to 15 minutes for the Threshold app to update and display the offline status of your Motion Wi-Fi Sensing Plug after it has lost connection. If you notice your plug is offline, you may want to check back after this period for the most accurate status.
When should I reset my devices?
You should reset your devices if:
- You haven’t received a motion report in 15 minutes when you know it should have been detected.
- Threshold Care Customer Support has recommended that you reset your devices.
- The tooltip on your graph when you look at the description is saying “Unknown Motion”.
- In this case, we recommend that you delete all of the devices in the affected Zone from the app before trying to add them back. This will reset the Zone at the same time as the device. You won’t lose prior data from your Zone unless you delete the Zone itself instead of the devices in the Zone.
